“I haven’t scored as many goals as I wanted to this season due to several reasons and I really want to get back my goalscoring form back,” said the 28-year-old Doe.
“Playing along with an experienced player like Amri is a big help … he’s one of the best player I have played with. We are combining well upfront but we also need the other players to score as well.
“We have eight more matches to play this season … I believe we have it in us to win the title and I’m all fired up to give 100%.”
Doe who scored 15 goals to emerge joint Golden Boot winner with Effa Owona last season, revealed that it’s harder to score this season.
“I’m not 100% fit as my ankle has not fully recovered and I have been given extra attention by our opponents,” said Doe, who played for Terengganu last season.
“It’s normal in football as they would have known about my game after I won the Golden Boot last season so I tend be fouled more and I pick up more injuries.
“The expectation is high here … I’m with a new team and it took some time before I could adapt to the style of play and it affected my goal tally.”
