"This year, we have selected six premises in Malaysia to rehabilitate playing environments. We are working with the local Rukun Tetangga to understand community challenges and how each party can mobilise its resources for a collective goal," said Nestle dairy unit business executive director Ho Hau Chieh.
"We hope that the Rukun Tetangga will organise more sporting events for the neighbourhood with the newly refurbished facility to encourage children to participate in the sporting arena."
Present to unveil the new facility, which include a football field and a futsal court, was councillor Azmi Jusoh of Klang Municipal Council (MPK).
"On behalf of the community, we truly appreciate Milo's effort in providing a safe play environment for our children. We are happy to see our children getting so much enjoyment from the new sports facility," said Azmi.
"We have always had a close partnership with Milo where we worked together for it's Go Further camps (formerly known as Play More, Learn More camps).
A friendly futsal match was also held for the children of KRT Menaru Maju to commemorate the launch of the refurbished facilities.
