Perak were the next best with four awards overall while Sabah created history by being the first east Malaysian state to capture a MSSM title when they beat Perak 3-2 in the girls’ Under-12 final.
On top of that their Under-12 skipper Kerismah Kauran captured the Best Player of the Tournament in that age group while their goalkeeper Adrian Andy Albert was voted the Best Goalkeeper in the boys’ Under-18 category.
Kuala Lumpur’s Nor Syafiq Sumantri was judged as the Player of the Tournament in the boys’ Under-18 division while their Nur Syaaza Afiqah Safawi snapped up the girls’ Under-12 Top Scorer’s award with a five-goal tally.
Selangor’s Ellya Shahirah Ellias took back home the Top Scorer’s award in the girls Under-18 division with seven goals to her credit while team-mate Sazaumira Mohd Ismail bagged the Best Goalkeeper award.
