The competition, which began at 8am, attracted over 200 participants aged 4 to 56.
Winner of the 100m backstroke category Ceri Halloway, 14, said she started swimming when she was 11.
"This is the second time I have entered a swimming competition and I am so glad that I won," she said.
First-timer Latifa Mohd Fuad, 13, said she was glad that her parents had agreed to enrol her for swimming classes. She added that her parents were supportive of her passion for swimming.
"They are here to cheer me on and lend a helping hand to the organiser," she said.
Choi Tack Chee, 57, said he had participated in the event to show support for Stingray, which is a non-profit organisation.
Mother Florance Wong, 47, said she was there to support her 13 -year-old daughter.
"I am glad that my daughter is into swimming and is not just wasting her time in front of the computer," she said.
